Saturday 3rd October 2026 · Sutton, Dublin

You are the person
people call
in a crisis.

Who do you call?

In Good Company is a full day for the people who care for a living — the doulas, midwives, therapists, nurses, coaches, and counsellors who show up, again and again, because that's just who they are.

This is one day where someone shows up for you.

Who this is for

This day is not
for everyone.
It's for you.

If you give to others for a living — if your job asks you to hold space, stay calm, carry knowledge and carry people — this day was built with you at the centre of it.

Not a conference. Not a wellness box-tick. Not another long day that leaves you more tired than when you arrived.

A day where the room understands what your work actually costs — and where you leave with something real.

If you're not on this list but you recognise the feeling of giving everything and wondering what's left — you're exactly who this day is for.

Why this day exists

I had spent years teaching people to listen to their bodies.
I had completely stopped listening to mine.

I built DoulaCare Ireland from nothing. Ireland's first national doula agency — 45+ doulas, admin staff, thousands of families, training programmes, advocacy work. A career I was proud of. A team I loved.

I was also doing all of it while my daughter Kayla was going through surgeries. Five of them, in her first five years. Often with me there alone, because of Covid restrictions. Holding space for her. Coming home and holding space for everyone else.

I kept going. I kept showing up. I kept the whole thing together.

Until my body said no. Not quietly tired. Hospitalised. Crohn's disease — my body doing what I had refused to do: stopping.

In that forced stillness, I finally understood what I had been teaching everyone else. I retrained as a life and business coach — not for a career pivot — to do the actual work. To understand what sustainable practice looks like from the inside.

And then I made a promise: to share everything I learned — the honest, hard-won, unglamorous stuff — with the people who needed to hear it most.

That's this day. That's you.

What actually happens

Connect. Restore. Grow.

01

Connect

Real connection from the moment you walk in. Small group story-sharing circles where people actually talk. A flyer table to share your work and discover others'.

Lunch that is long enough to have a proper conversation — not bolt a sandwich and check your phone.

The people you meet here will not be strangers by the time the day ends. That's not a promise. That's just what happens when you put the right people in a room and give them space.

02

Restore

Guided journalling and breathwork that give your nervous system a genuine reset. Not the kind you get from a bath bomb. The kind that actually shifts something.

An honest conversation about burnout and compassion fatigue — not the sanitised version. What it really looks like, how to catch it before it catches you, and what to do when it already has.

You will leave this section feeling something you haven't felt in a while. Lighter is the word most people use.

03

Grow

Practical tools you can use the following Monday. Business sustainability strategies from someone who built something, lost it to burnout, and rebuilt it differently.

Boundaries that actually hold — because you've worked out what yours are, not just read about them in a book.

A skill-sharing session where the room teaches itself. A CPD certificate. And a very different sense of what the next chapter of your practice could look like.

The Day

Purposeful.

  • 2:00pm
    Afternoon Session
Business tools. Skill sharing. Practical strategies. What sustainable actually looks like.

Where

The Marine Hotel,
Sutton

Dublin Bay, Co. Dublin

A proper coastal hotel on Dublin Bay. Not a conference centre. Not a church hall.

5 minutes from Sutton DART. Free parking on site.

When the day closes at 4:30, the sea is right there. Some people walk. Some stay for dinner. Some sit with a new friend and a glass of wine and wonder why they don't do this more often.

One day.
Yours to keep
forever.

I'm keeping this to 40 people. Not as a marketing tactic — because this day only works if the room is the right size. The conversations need space. The connections need to be real.

If you're waiting for things to calm down before you do something for yourself — I want to say something gently but directly: that moment is not coming on its own. You know this. You've probably said a version of it to someone you were supporting.

This is me saying it back to you.
