Supporting Birth Trauma
Supporting Birth Trauma
16th April 10.15am-1.15pm - Live via zoom
A 3 Hour Professional Workshop for Doulas & Perinatal Professionals
Supporting parents through birth trauma requires skill, awareness, and care — not only for the families you serve, but for yourself as a professional.
This 3 hour workshop is designed to help doulas and professionals working with parents develop trauma-informed confidence, strengthen communication skills, and understand ethical referral pathways, while also recognising the importance of reflecting on their own experiences.
Birth trauma can surface in many ways and at any stage. This workshop supports you to hold space safely, respond appropriately, and work within your scope — without carrying emotional weight that isn’t yours to hold.
Guest speaker Gemma Doyle who will guide a session introducing the 3-Step Rewind Technique and where it fits within trauma support
